Our First Project – The Gamble House Living Room Arm Chair
MM Wood Studio is a new online wood working school specializing in intermediate to advanced level projects deconstructed for the home woodworker.
The Gamble House Living Room Arm chair is unique in its design; incorporates many of the aspects found in other Greene & Greene chairs from its cloud lift headrest and rails, to its carved arms. While adding some unique elements not found in other chairs, side panels, split center back slat joined by ebony bars and carved cloud lifts in each rail.

I love woodworking, what do I need to do these projects?
Our projects are oriented for the woodworker who is ready to move onto more advanced concepts. Some projects may contain angled joinery, inlay and the use of exotic woods. Don’t have an 8, 10 or 12-inch jointer? No problem. We have a jig for that. In fact, all of our projects have been constructed for a shop with a table saw, 12-inch band saw, 6-inch jointer and lunchbox size planer, router table (big or small), a set of chisels, and a few planes. You may need to buy a few new router bits and other accessories, but don’t all of us when we start a new project?
